GARY HEATH
CALIFORNIA USA
USING 150mm FUJINON BINOCULARS
"If I didn't have one I would certainly pay the latest price
to get one!! :-)
I have a lot of money tied up in my equipment and to be honest,
the only thing that got any real use these recent past summers has
been my StarChair and a MallinCam equipped 16" LX200.
So, when I compare it to my AP1200GTO and 155EDF, as well as my
20" Obsession, an FLI IMG6303e, and a host of other equipment
that was about the same price (or even much more) and pretty much
it's all just sitting idle, the StarChair was truly one of the very
best deals in astronomy equipment I've made!
IMO it's priceless ...... and the 'only' thing available that can
do what it does.
The icing on the cake is that it is built like a tank and will take
an enormous amount of punishment."

“We are certainly giving the Star Chair a work-out. NASA estimates
that some 80-90% of the American population now lives where they
cannot see the Milky Way. For individuals to "ride" the star chair
whether I'm controlling it or not and see the Milky Way via binoculars
on a warm summer's night is akin to a personal IMAX experience I
dare say. Not a single person has expressed a "What's the big deal?"
sentiment, making me think that all are suitably impressed. Doubtless
they are impressed with the night sky”.

"What struck me was that pre Star-Chair I might have logged about
15 minutes actual viewing time in a 2 hour evening. Post Star-Chair
a 2-hour evening is 2 hours behind the eyepieces. And after a few
minutes, I'm no longer here -
but out THERE – magic.
Chasing satellites is like an arcade game”.
ATTILLA DANKO - Ontario Canada
“I've been observing large dark nebulae in Cygnus. The Starchair
is probably the only way I would have made such observations. In
the summer at my latitude, Cygnus is directly overhead. While I
have scopes that are comfortable to use overhead, they do not have
the field of 20x80 binoculars. The dark nebulae are hard to observe
at other than the zenith, since they are sensitive to the slightest
loss in contrast. So the Starchair is pretty much the only equipment
that I can observe them with. Short answer: I'm seeing lots more
cool stuff since I got the Starchair.”
MYRON EICHEN - DEL MAR CALIFORNIA USA
“I have purchased 2 Sky Rover STARCHAIRS and love them! I want
a third”!!
W. BARRY LINDGREN - SOLANO BCH. CALIFORNIA USA
“Kudos, Chris, on a concept well executed. This product has clearly
added a new dimension to enjoying the night - time sky with binoculars......and
this type of observing is truly the way to draw in those fence-sitting
amateur astronomers. Best of luck with your
business”.
Doug Sprigg - Arkaroola Resort. AUSTRALIA 6 National Tourism
Awards.
“I’ve recently purchased 3 Star Chairs and equipped them with snap
on computer encoders. Tours of the universe are finally possible.
Great design, great concept and clients love them”.
Darren Minnicon – Nth. N.S.W. Australia
“You have my
custom for life. I love the chair and can't wait to get a larger
pair of binoculars”. |
